Nodes of different colours represent the following:
Solid arrows point from a submodule to the (sub)module which it is
descended from. Dashed arrows point from a module or program unit to
modules which it uses.
Where possible, edges connecting nodes are
given different colours to make them easier to distinguish in
large graphs.
~ ~ ~ PURPOSE ~ ~ ~
this subroutine mixes residue and nutrients during tillage and
biological mixing
New version developed by Armen R. Kemanian in collaboration with Stefan Julich and Cole Rossi
Mixing was extended to all layers
A subroutine to simulate stimulation of organic matter decomposition was added
March 2009: testing has been minimal and further adjustments are expected
use with caution and report anomalous results to akemanian@brc.tamus.edu and jeff.arnold@usda.edu

tillage operation
incorporate pathogens - no mixing - lost from transport
incorporate pathogens
msm = mass of soil mixed for the layer
msn = mass of soil not mixed for the layer
calculate the mass each mixed element
mix pesticides
mix each plant residue component separately
reconstitute each soil plant residue component separately
reconstitute pesticides
Nodes of different colours represent the following:
Solid arrows point from a procedure to one which it calls. Dashed
arrows point from an interface to procedures which implement that interface.
This could include the module procedures in a generic interface or the
implementation in a submodule of an interface in a parent module.
Where possible, edges connecting nodes are
given different colours to make them easier to distinguish in
large graphs.
